Lunch & Learn - Hot Topics & Hot Chocolate

Join us for Hot Topics & Hot Chocolate on February 11, 2014 as we welcome Dr. Greg Jicha, UK Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology and the Sanders Brown Center on Aging. Amongst his many responsibilities, he is the Director of the Clinical Core of the UK Alzheimer's Disease Center and is the principle investigator at UK for the National Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study Group. He also serves on the Clinical Task Force and Steering Committee for the National Institute on Aging Alzheimer's Disease Center Program. We are fortunate that he has made time to be with us for an informal 'one-on-one' chat about Alzheimer's disease, dementia and caregiving. Here is your opportunity to learn and ask an expert about all things related to this frightening disease...What are the signs of Alzheimer's? Is there a cure? Is it preventable? Can you slow down the progression of the disease? What can do for my mother who has recently been diagnosed?

Attendance will be very limited so as to keep the group informal and encourage participation.
