Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction: 8-week program

You have what you need to manage stress. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) empowers you with your own portable toolkit of safe and effective mind body skills. Are you ready to mobilize your own inner resources for healing?

This 8-week MBSR training program is recommended for anyone seriously interested in making MBSR practices a part of their daily life. While no prior experience in MBSR or any form of mind body work is needed, you must be willing to commit to weekly training sessions and 1 hour of daily home practice in between classes. Led and facilitated by Dr. John Patterson, weekly sessions are two and a half hours in a small and open group environment. All of the essential MBSR practices will be explored in-depth as this program is designed to give you the tools to integrate MBSR practices into your life. The program includes the following sessions:

  1. Required orientation on Thurday, January 16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
  2. Thursday evening classes from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. for 8 weeks January 21 through March 3)
  3. A full-day workshop on Saturday, February 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tuition is offered at the discounted rate of $100 for the entire 8-week program and you will be able to make your payment after your application is accepted.
