There are distinct ethical dilemmas that arise within an organizational structure, which produce different problems for different people depending on roles, responsibilities, values, personal integrity, job descriptions, and organizational culture. In a large academic and medical center, the diversity of organizational ethics issues creates many grey areas for which there is uncertain legal and policy interpretations. Additionally, there may be organizational rules and policies that are unethical, which produce a variety of integrity-compromising situations. This course is intended to educate participants about the myriad of organizational ethics issues using several actual cases, and provide clear guidance on how to navigate through them, particularly in the era of social media.
