MoveWell FAQs

Do all MoveWell members have to use payroll deduction?

Payroll deduction is required for all UK employees and their spouses/sponsored dependents.

Retirees and retiree spouses pay by check or cash.

Please note fees for a spouse or sponsored dependent will be deducted from the UK employee’s paycheck.For example, if your husband is a MoveWell member but does not work at UK, his fees will come out of your (UK employee) paycheck.

Do I ever need to renew payroll deduction?

No, payroll deduction will continue until you cancel your membership.

How much does membership cost?

The fee for Body Shop Fitness is $7 per month or $3.50 per biweekly period.

How will fees come out of my paycheck?

Fees will be deducted from member paychecks on an after-tax basis at either $7 per month or $3.50 per biweekly period.

For bi-weekly employees: In the months that have three pay periods, fees will only be deducted from the first two checks. MoveWell fees will coincide with regular payroll schedule.

What will show up on my pay stub?

If you are only a MoveWell member, your pay stub will show "MoveWell Fitness" ($7 or $3.50).

If you choose to join the Johnson Center as a combination, your check will show two lines: 1. "MoveWell Fitness Combo" ($5 or $2.50) and 2. "Johnson Center Combo" ($15 or $7.50).

Can I join MoveWell and the Johnson Center?

Yes! Join both the Johnson Center and Body Shop Fitness for only $20 per month through payroll deduction. This reflects a 30% discount on the regular fees. Johnson Center membership requirements apply. Contact the Johnson Center at (859) 257-3928 for more information.

As an employee, how do I become a MoveWell member?

1. Use the LiveWell dashboard to start the MoveWell membership registration process. You will login to your dashboard by using your linkblue ID and password. The system will prompt you with all the steps along the way!

Please note clearance from a healthcare provider may be required for individuals with health risks.

2. During the online registration process, you will be prompted to schedule a fitness orientation. Attending a fitness orientation is required for membership. 

As a spouse/sponsored dependent of an employee, how do I become a MoveWell member?

1. Use the LiveWell dashboard to start the MoveWell membership registration process. You will login to your dashboard using the date of birth and the social security number of your spouse (the UK employee). You will then be prompted to create a username and password and to complete the remainder of the registration steps.

Please note clearance from a healthcare provider may be required for individuals with health risks.

2. During the online registration process, you will be prompted to schedule a fitness orientation. Attending a fitness orientation is required for membership.

As a retiree, how do I become a MoveWell member?

1. Use the LiveWell dashboard to start the MoveWell membership registration process. You will login to your dashboard using the last four digits of your social security number and your date of birth. The system will prompt you with all the steps along the way!

2. During the online registration process, you will be prompted to schedule a fitness orientation. Attending a fitness orientation is required for membership. 

3. Bring your membership payment with you to your fitness orientation.

As a spouse of a retiree, how do I become a MoveWell member?

1. Use the LiveWell dashboard to start the MoveWell membership registration process. You will login to your dashboard using the date of birth and the social security number of your spouse (the UK retiree). You will then be prompted to create a username and password and to complete the remainder of the registration steps.

2. During the online registration process, you will be prompted to schedule a fitness orientation. Attending a fitness orientation is required for membership.

3. Bring your membership payment with you to your fitness orientation

Once I'm a member, how do I cancel?

After the three-month minimum membership requirement, simply use the LiveWell dashboard to cancel. Upon logging in, click on the "MoveWell Membership" tab and then click the cancel button.

Please note: Combo members must also cancel separately with the Johnson Center.

How do I re-enroll once I've cancelled?

Use the LiveWell dashboard to start the MoveWell membership registration process. It will recognize you as a previous member and prompt you to complete any necessary steps, such as a new fitness orientation appointment if you have not attended one in the past year.
