This facility features more than 23 pieces of cardio equipment, a complete Paramount strength training circuit and free weights.


  • Monday through Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m.
  • ​Saturday: 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • Sunday: Noon - 4 p.m.

In effort to provide members greater flexibility to use the new Export Street fitness facility, weekend hours of operation will be extended:

  • Starting July 9, Saturday and Sunday hours will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • ​Remember, the adjacent Credit Union parking lot is available for use after 2 p.m. on weekends, and the 35-space UK lot directly outside the facility is available for use for those with or without a UK parking permit on weekends.

Parking and transportation options for 1020 Export:

  • Walking - view walking routes from common areas on campus.
  • Bike racks - employees or departments may check out a bicycle, for free on a semester basis, from Wildcat Wheels.
  • Parking structure #6 - Press Ave (721 spaces)
  • 1020 Export parking lot (35 spaces)
    • 25 spaces are designated for employee permit (E pass) use.
    • 10 spaces are designated for 2 hour or less parking and require either an employee permit or a limited permit.
      • Limited permits will be authorized to park in the 2 hour parking areas throughout the day.
      • Limited permit cost is $7/month and are available for purchase by retirees, spouses, and employees with no existing parking permit. For more information and to purchase a limited permit, please contact Parking & Transportation Services at 257-5757.
    • All spaces in the lot are monitored from 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (not monitored from 3:30 p.m. - 5 a.m.) on Monday through Friday.
    • The lot is unmonitored on Saturday and Sunday.
  • UK Credit Union’s parking lot (adjacent to 1020 Export)
    • Available for our use Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
    • Available for our use on weekends after 2:00 pm (until Monday at 7:00 a.m.). 
Please do not use the parking lots dedicated to neighboring businesses not listed above, including the empty lot (formerly Winn Dixie). Towing will be enforced.

1. Pool at Lancaster Aquatic Center

UK Campus Recreation offers access to the pool during lap swim/recreation swim hours at Lancaster Aquatic Center for all UK faculty, staff, and students -- no membership is required. For lap swim/recreation swim hours, view Lancaster Aquatics pool schedule/hours.

Please note: MoveWell members who are members through their UK spouse employee, must purchase a UK Campus Recreation spouse membership pass to participate in lap swim/recreation swim hours. If participating in a scheduled MoveWell class taking place at the pool, there is no fee for access. Fee to use the facility is only when accessing the for lap swim/recreation swim. Passes are $30 for the year. Passes may be purchased Monday - Thursday 8:45am - 9pm, Friday 8:45am - 7pm, Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 5pm. For more details, read Campus Recreation's policies and rules.
