Tobacco Cessation Coaching

What You Need to Know: 

UK Health & Wellness offers free consults. Seriously, it's free for all UK employees, retirees, spouses and sponsored dependents! You do not even have to be a Body Shop member. One-on-one consults are available from Health & Wellness for exercise, nutrition, tobacco cessation. These consults are also available to Body Shop members, but you do not have to be enrolled as a Body Shop member in order to receive free consults. Work+Life Connections counseling from Work Life is also available as a brief intervention and a gateway to other resources. This is a free and confidential benefit that allows up to five consultations per year.

Do you need help with quitting and staying tobacco-free?

UK Health & Wellness offers free Tobacco Cessation Coaching to help you successfully quit using tobacco. Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is available to eligible participants enrolled in this program. Schedule an appointment using our online form.

You will work with your coach to:

  • Establish a support system for tobacco cessation, identify behaviors that inhibit tobacco cessation, and create a plan to quit.
  • Get information and support on how to quit and stay quit.
  • Get free nicotine replacement patches, gum, or lozenges.
  • Explore options, including medications and behavior changes, and pick strategies that work for you!

Who is eligible?

Regular employees (0.5 - 1.0 full-time equivalency) and their spouses/sponsored dependents may participate. UK retirees and their spouses/sponsored dependents may also participate.

Meet your Tobacco Cessation Coach

​​Wellness Specialist Amy Rodquist-Kodet, MA, CHWC, is a Health Coach and Tobacco Cessation Coach for UK Health and Wellness. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Speech Communications & Urban Studies. She has a Master’s degree in Holistic Health Studies from St. Catherine University. Amy is passionate about supporting individuals as they access their strengths to launch and achieve their goals, allowing them to live more fully on every level.
