What You Need to Know:
UK Health & Wellness offers free consults. Seriously, it's free for all UK employees, retirees, spouses and sponsored dependents! You do not even have to be a MoveWell member. One-on-one consults are available from Health & Wellness for exercise, nutrition, tobacco cessation. These consults are also available to MoveWell members, but you do not have to be enrolled as a MoveWell member in order to receive free consults. Work+Life Connections counseling from Work Life is another great resource available from UK and it serves as a brief intervention and a gateway to other resources. This is a free and confidential benefit that allows up to five consultations per year. Additionally, please consider Financial Counseling brought to you by our UK Benefits department.

- A UK Health & Wellness Health Fitness Specialist is available for private consultations to assist you with your exercise and fitness goals. If you have special considerations, she can help you find the fitness path that is right for you. They can answer your questions, provide guidelines, and help you get started on your personalized path to fitness — all for free!

- Schedule an appointment with a Health Fitness Specialist through our online form, call (859) 257-5105 or email. Consultations usually take place at the Seaton Center, but can happen via phone or email, as well.
- If you have participated in the UK LiveWell Check In, bring your results to review with your Health Fitness Specialist.
About your Health Fitness Specialist:
Carrie Davidson, ACSM, HFS, RYT 200 is the Wellness Coordinator for UK Health & Wellness, where she has worked since 2006. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Exercise Science, a Master’s of Divinity degree from Gardner-Webb University, and is ABD for her doctorate from the University of Kentucky in Health Promotion. She holds several fitness certifications (ACSM, ACE, RYT 200) and loves to help others be healthy in body, mind, and soul.
