Digital Signature directions


Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Create a Digital ID

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Pro
  2. Choose Advanced > Security Settings.
  3. Select Digital IDs on the left, and then click the Add ID button .
  4. Select A new digital ID I want to create now, and click Next.
  5. Enter your identity information, and click Next
  6. Specify where to store the digital ID,
  7. Select a password to safeguard your signature and click Finish.


Adobe Acrobat Pro X Create a Digital ID

  1. Open Adobe Acrobat Pro X
  2. Choose Tools > Sign & Certify
  3. Select More sign & Certify > Security settings
  4. Select Digital IDs on the left, and then click the Add ID button .
  5. Select A new digital ID I want to create now, and click Next.
  6. Enter your identity information, and click Next
  7. Specify where to store the digital ID,
  8. Select a password to safeguard your signature and click Finish.
     

Using your Digital ID
To sign a form click in the signature area, your digital id name should appear in the "Sign As" panel, if not click the drop-down box and choose your name, Enter your password and click Sign. The signed pdf will then be saved to your desktop.

If the form requires multiple signatures please email the signed document to one person at a time until the form is complete.

When the form is complete click the submit form button at the end of the pdf. The form will then be emailed to the Associate Provost for International Partnerships.
