The University of Kentucky (UK) is proud of our many bilateral exchange relationships with partner institutions around the world and of our membership in the ISEP consortia, which links UK into a network of 300 colleges and universities in 50 countries cooperating to provide affordable access to international education for a diverse student population.
The UK International Center (UKIC) welcomes incoming exchange students and is dedicated to ensuring that each student has a rewarding and memorable learning experience here. Students from over 100 countries, every state in the nation and every county in Kentucky provides a diverse learning and cultural environment that enriches the educational experience at UK. Incoming exchange students have access to a large array of courses from some 200 majors and degree programs in 17 academic and professional colleges.
The UKIC Exchanges Coordinator works personally with each exchange student, both incoming and outgoing, to ensure that each has a smooth transition. For additional information or to ask questions about UK exchanges contact our Exchanges Coordinator here.
Education Abroad facilitates three types of exchange programs, all of which allow students to pay regular UK tuition and fees, but spend the summer, semester or academic year abroad. Learn more about these low-cost programs.
