Jason is a native of Louisville, KY, and graduated from UK in 2010 with degrees in International Relations and Spanish, with a minor in French. He is currently a graduate student in the Educational Policy Studies & Evaluation Program out of UK's College of Education. Some of his main responsibilities include working with non-credit group international travel programs, Risk Management issues related to Education Abroad, and students earning credit abroad through medical rotations or independent study/research experiences.
Jason has had a lifelong passion for travel. So far, he has had the opportunity to visit and/or study in 20 foreign countries, 49 of the U.S. states, and Puerto Rico. His best experiences abroad were in Guatemala and New Zealand, while he ranks New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming as his favorite U.S. destinations.
