Originally from North Carolina, Thomas Teague comes to the University of Kentucky from Texas A&M where he worked as a study abroad advisor. Prior to moving to Texas, Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree in French Language and Literature from North Carolina State University and his master’s degree from the University of Tennessee in College Student Personnel.
Thomas works primarily with students in the College of Arts and Sciences, Undergraduate Studies, and the Graduate School. He also develops and coordinates UK Education Abroad’s ongoing orientation programming to support students before, during and after their international experiences. In addition to his primary responsibilities, Thomas is an active member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators.
Thomas has been with UK since June 2011.
