Liz Kociolek

Originally from California, Liz has lived in Michigan, Texas, and Virginia before settling in Kentucky. No stranger to travel, Liz spent her first birthday in Alaska and has not stopped exploring since. She graduated from Texas Tech University where she earned her BA in German Language. During this time, she spent a semester in Quedlinburg, Germany working on fluency and interning in a local art museum. Liz earned her M.S.Ed. in International Higher Education Leadership from Old Dominion University and as a graduate student, participated in a faculty directed program to Italy and a summer internship in Ireland. Liz has traveled extensively around Western Europe and hopes to travel to the Middle East or South East Asia in the near future. 

Liz has been with UK since October 2013 and primarily advises students in the College of Communication & Information Technology, College of Design; College of Engineering and College of Fine Arts.
