Celtic Blue

Interested in studying abroad while exploring Celtic culture?
UK Education Abroad’s Celtic Blue programs offer students the opportunity to study and intern abroad at some of the top institutions in Ireland and Scotland. Students from nearly every major can find courses related to their degree in programs such as:

Re-Entry Sessions

UK Education Abroad will hold four Re-Entry (Welcome Back) sessions on campus. All students enrolled in ISP 599 are required ONE of the following sessions, all of which will take place in the Whitehall CB 118 at the below specified times.

Education Abroad Fall Fair


UK Education Abroad will be hosting the annual Fall Fair on Thursday, September 17th from 10 am to 2 pm in the Buell Armory.

If Education Abroad seems overwhelming or confusing, then the fair is the place for you. The event will feature representatives from various colleges highlighting the programs tailored to their students, as well as partner providers that offer even more abroad opportunities.

So stop by, eat some snacks, grab some giveaways and you'll be one step closer to Seeing Blue Abroad!

UK Sponsored Program Deadlines extended

Hurry! There are only a few spots left and you can still study abroad this summer on 4 of UK’s Sponsored programs! The UK Sponsored: Mountains to Coast, Field Studies in Costa Rica Summer 2015 application deadline has been extended to April 27th.  Students in this program will be traveling to Costa Rice taught by UK faculty.

EA Scholarship Open House

UK Education Abroad will host a Scholarship Open House on Wednesday, February 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the third floor of Bradley Hall. 

During this event, students will learn about a variety of education abroad scholarships, including those for Pell Grant students, those for students studying critical languages, those for students participating on select UK Partner programs and more.  In addition, students can have their scholarship applications reviewed and chat with financial aid counselors. 

Free food will be available.

Education Abroad Spring Fair

UK Education Abroad will host its spring fair on Thursday, February 5 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Hub of William T. Young Library. 

The event will highlight international internship programs and a variety of summer 2015 faculty-directed programs*.  The latter programs include offerings from:

A&S Faculty-Directed Programs - Summer 2015

From Cuba to China, more than a dozen faculty from the UK College of Arts & Sciences will lead education abroad programs this upcoming summer.  Many of these programs are open to students from all disciplines.
