A Night of Service

University of Kentucky Education Abroad and International Studies Abroad (ISA) are working together on a collaborative service-learning project at the International Book Project in Lexington.
 

Re-Entry Sessions

UK Education Abroad will hold five Re-Entry (Welcome Back) sessions on campus. All students enrolled in ISP 599 are required ONE of the following sessions, all of which will take place in the Room 203 of The 90  at the below specified times.

Education Abroad Spring Fair

UK Education Abroad will host its spring fair on Thursday, February 5 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Hub of William T. Young Library. 

The event will highlight international internship programs and a variety of summer 2015 faculty-directed programs*.  The latter programs include offerings from:

A&S Faculty-Directed Programs - Summer 2015

From Cuba to China, more than a dozen faculty from the UK College of Arts & Sciences will lead education abroad programs this upcoming summer.  Many of these programs are open to students from all disciplines.

Communication & Information Faculty-Directed Programs - Summer 2015

This summer, faculty from the UK College of Communication & Information will direct six education abroad programs across three continents. Each program is open to students from all majors. 

Global Design

In partnership with various academic departments, UK Education Abroad has developed a unique portfolio of programs that enable students to further their studies in some of the world's best centers for design.  The Global Design collaboration is made possible in part by the following University of Kentucky departments:

  • School of Architecture
  • School of Art & Visual Studies
  • School of Interiors: Planning / Strategy / Design
  • Department of Landscape Architecture

UK Education Abroad, ISA Offer New Diversity Scholarships

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 8, 2014) — In an effort to encourage education abroad participation for all students, University of Kentucky Education Abroad is now offering a unique opportunity for students who often opt out of this high-impact educational experience.  Diversity scholarships, which range between $2500 and $5000, are now available to UK students participating in approved programs through International Studies Abroad (ISA).

Education Abroad Fair

Education Abroad (EA) will hold its annual Fall Fair on Thursday, September 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Buell Armory.

EA Welcomes New Students & Parents at see blue. U

 

This summer, alongside the entire Big Blue Nation, UK Education Abroad (UK EA) will welcome new Wildcats to campus during see blue. U Orientation.

At 1:50 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. each orientation day, UK EA will hold an information session in room 102 of White Hall.  During these sessions, EA staff and advisors will introduce new students and their parents to the range of education abroad experience types, program options, scholarship opportunities and more.
