Frannie Roorda

Frannie is a freshman and is currently a Physics and Philosophy double major with a minor in French. She recently returned from studying Anthropology and Art History during a 2-week program in the Yucatán Peninsula during the winter term with the Kentucky Institute for International Studies (KIIS). She is from Louisville, KY, but lives in Mystic, CT during the summers where she works at a sailing camp.

Sam Culp

Samantha is a senior Economics major. She spent a summer abroad studying International Business in Austria with the Kentucky Institute of International Studies (KIIS). If you have any questions on living with a host family or “back unpacking” through Europe, feel free to email her or visit her during office hours. A fun personal fact about Sam is that she is obsessed with sharks, and is involved in Greek life at UK. 

Michaela Wade

Michaela is a senior Spanish major. She studied Spanish with Sol Education Abroad in Heredia, Costa Rica in the fall of 2015. Michaela's advising specialties are studying abroad in Spanish-speaking countries and with the Sol program. She loves animals, especially dogs.

Abbey Tillman

Abbey is a senior Finance major who studied International Business in the fall 2015 at the University of Central Lancashire as an exchange student. If you are a student interested in studying in the United Kingdom, as an exchange student, and/or traveling while studying, contact her. When she left the USA, her bags were over 50lbs and when she came home they were less than 50lbs - her dad came and took things back! Education abroad is a valuable experience, and she encourages every student to find a program that fits their needs and interests!
