What services do you and your teammates provide to campus?

Our team is responsible for desktop and classroom support for faculty and staff at the College of Law. We also pride ourselves on the level of service we provide our students and their personal computers. Since Law students must rely on their laptops for exams, we provide tech support for all students in addition to providing exam day assistance. We also maintain servers, design websites, edit videos, and anything else our college needs. Students can also check out equipment with us and we help with account issues.

Tell us about your collaboration with ITS and the ITS services that your department utilizes:

We rely heavily on ITS to provide support on our various initiatives. We are working with many ITS teams with the design of our new building including Classroom, AV Support, & Student Technology Services and Infrastructure Project Management & Estimation. Our unique class selection and schedule makes our Teacher Course Evaluations more complicated, but we get great assistance from Academic Technical Support Services. Victoria Banks and Systems Operations helped us migrate off of all 2003 Windows servers. Frank Johnson with Learning Management helped us get started with Digital Measures. Lastly, Technical Support Services helped us better centrally manage our computers by onboarding us onto the campus System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) server.
