The sixth annual Keeneland Conference, sponsored by the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Services and Systems Research (PHSSR) and the National Coordinating Center for Public Health Practice-Based Research Networks (PBRN), will be held April 8 -11, 2013. The Keeneland Conference has become the premier meeting for public health practitioners, researchers, and policymakers in the nation. Join several hundred participants to discuss ways to improve the nation's public health system. Each year, public health professionals participate in scientific sessions to share the latest research. Practitioners and policymakers have a chance to network with researchers to develop ways of translating evidence-based research into practice. The conference provides invaluable networking opportunities for public health professionals to exchange ideas about new data sources and research methodologies. This year’s keynote speakers will be Paul Kuehnert, M.S., RN, Team Director and Senior Program Officer, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; Dr. Lisa Simpson, President/CEO, AcademyHealth; William L. Roper, M.D., M.P.H., Dean of the School of Medicine & Vice Chancellor for Medical Affairs and CEO, UNC Health Care System; and Dr. Joe V.
