Program Director, Perinatal Research
Andrea joined the College of Nursing in 2007 as a part-time research coordinator for perinatal research, and is currently the Program Manager of Perinatal Research and the EMPOWR (Efforts to Maximize Perinatal Outcomes in Women at Risk) program. She is responsible for overall operations of the program, and provides guidance for the development and implementation of current and planned perinatal research projects to carry out the program’s primary goal of improving infant and maternal outcomes through collaborative research. Andrea earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and is currently completing her Master of Public Health degree.
