ARTICLE VII: -- GENERAL ASSEMBLY
SECTION 1: Powers of the General Assembly
- All legislative and financial request powers of OCSA shall be vested in the GA while in session with Adviser(s) approval.
- When not in session all legislative and financial powers of the OCSA will be vested in the EB with the Adviser(s) approval.
The GA shall have the authority to establish and/or rescind an EB or EC member by a majority vote, but only after special recommendation from the Adviser(s) and the Impeachment, Suspension and Probation Committee.
SECTION 2: General Assembly Members shall:
- Each have one vote in Assembly meetings.
- Have the power to draft legislation in the forms of bills, recommendations, and resolutions.
Serve as a member on at least one standing committee.
