UK-NOYCE Fellows
Application Information
Applications are now being accepted for the 2009-10 school year!
The
application deadline is May 1, 2010.
Applications submitted during after the
deadline and during the summer time will be dealt with on a
case-by-case basis.

Please complete the
UK-NOYCE
Fellowship Application. You may email the application (it will
automatically email it as a data [xml] file) or you may print
off the application and turn it into Ms. Sarah Cole, 201
Morgan Bldg (Speed Sort 0225).

Email or send a copy of your
transcripts (unofficial is fine) from all collegiate
institutions.

Email or send a personal
statement. The
personal statement should be no more than 1000 words describing:
1) Why you want to teach mathematics or science; 2) What you
feel your strengths as a teacher would be; and 3) What prepares
you to be successful to teach in a high-needs school in
Kentucky.

Email or
send your completed STEM Course
Form. Please include all Math, Science, Technology
(including Computer Science), Engineering, and Mathematics
courses you have taken thus far in your college career.

Two letters of
recommendation prepared by people that can indicate your future
success in teaching mathematics or science. The recommendation
may come from an individual who is familiar with your character,
personality, work ethic, and dependability. Recommendations may
be sent directly to Ms. Sarah Cole or turned in by the
applicant in a signed, sealed envelope. Unsealed recommendations
cannot be accepted. Please use the
Recommendation Form.
Additional letters may be attached to the form.
