At the University of Kentucky this year, we have our largest, most academically prepared, and diverse student body in our institution’s history.
But the most important numbers, we all know, involve how well our students do when they get there. Are they successful? Do they find a sense of community and active, vibrant places to learn? Are they graduated on time, prepared for lives of meaning and purpose?
Those questions remind us that our constant focus must be on creating an environment of academic excellence that fosters student success in everything that we do.
