Wildcat Wheels Announces Spring Cleaning Bike Clinics

Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Shop is offering three free bicycle classes this week for cyclists interested in getting their bikes tuned up and clean for spring weather. From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, Thursday, Feb. 24 and Friday, Feb. 25, a Wildcat Wheels instructor will teach attendees how to defeat rusty chains, fine tune their shifting and more. All participants will receive a free patch kit.

The sessions are available free of charge to students and employees, and are made possible by funding from the Paula Nye Memorial Bicyclist and Pedestrian Education Grant.

Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Shop is located between Blazer Hall and North Hall just across Avenue of Champions from the Student Center.

This week’s clinics are the first part of a bicycle workshop series provided by Wildcat Wheels. Workshops following this week will occur two or more times a week, one at the shop and the other at different locations on campus.  If you would like a workshop near you or have any questions, email wildcatwheels@gmail.com or visit www.wildcatwheels.org.
