Free Build-a-Bike, Safety/Maintenance Workshops

This semester, the Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Shop is offering free Build-a-Bike and Safety and Maintenance Workshops for the campus community.

The Build-a-Bike Series will be held on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. at Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Shop, located between Blazer Hall and North Hall just across Avenue of Champions from the Student Center. Participants will learn the different parts and systems of a bike over the course of four sessions. Perfect for the curious cyclist!

The Safety and Maintenance Clinics will be held at the following times and locations. Look for the Movable Bicycle Workshop!

3/21 Noon Nursing Building (Rose Street side)
3/28 Noon Ag North
4/4 6:00 PM Commonwealth Village
4/9 All day Pedal-Palooza (Student Center Parking Lot)
4/11 Noon Whitehall Classroom Building
4/18 Noon Amphitheatre behind Memorial Hall
4/25 Noon W.T. Young Library

The sessions are available free of charge to students and employees, and are possible thanks to the Paula Nye Memorial Foundation and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
