Bike Lexington Commuter Challenge

May is National Bike Month, and UK is encouraging our community to participate in the annual Bike Lexington calendar of events.

Once again this year is the Business Commuter Challenge. Businesses and organizations of all sizes will compete to see who can encourage the most bicycle commuting among their employees during the month of May. UK administration encourages all UK units to participate, and to form teams based on their organizational units. Prizes will be awarded to the individual with the most trips. Businesses with the highest trips per employee scores will receive a write-up in the June edition of Business Lexington. Prizes will also be randomly awarded to other challenge participants.

Each work and errand-related trip you make by bicycle counts as a trip in the Bike Lexington Commuter Challenge. Fitness and recreation rides do not count.
