Bike Racks Removed from RGAN; Alternatives in the Area
Four bicycle racks, located next to the Ralph G. Anderson (RGAN) Building, also known as the Mechanical Engineering Building, have been permanently removed as a result of ongoing complaints resulting from blockage of disabled accessible ramps and pedestrian walkways. The racks consisted of approximately 30 bike parking spaces.
Cyclists who would normally utilize the racks at RGAN are encouraged to use one of the following alternative locations: Patterson Drive, Library Drive behind the Chemistry/Physics Building, the interior of the Engineering Quad or adjacent to the Gillis Building.
New bike racks will be installed near Anderson Tower and on the northeast corner of Patterson Office Tower this week; these will replace 16 of the lost spaces. Additionally, 20 new bike parking spaces will be installed behind Pence Hall in the coming weeks.

As a reminder, bicycles may only be parked at bicycle racks.
