UK Health & Wellness Offers Free Bike Commuting Class for Employees, Dependents

UK Human Resources is offering employees, retirees, spouses and their dependents an opportunity to sign up for Road 101: Bike Commuting Class. The class will be taught by a League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructor and demonstrates on-road riding skills for in-town travel, techniques for bike safety, and basic maintenance. The class will be held Wednesday, April 30, from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., beginning in the gallery of W.T. Young Library. A short ride around campus will be included, so participants must bring their own bike and helmet (required for participation). The commuting class is for experienced riders only.

Anyone interested must pre-register at www.uky.edu/hr/event/road-101. Class size is limited, and will be cancelled in the event of bad weather.
