Steam Line Repairs to Impact Structure #3

Beginning Monday, April 11, access to the disabled parking spaces on the first floor of Parking Structure #3 (also known as the Kentucky Clinic Parking Structure) will be rerouted due to steam line repairs. During the construction, the first floor disabled parking area will be accessible through the first floor reserved entrance on the south side of the structure. The entrance is scheduled to remain closed through Friday, August 5.

Temporary signage and striping will be in place to direct traffic.

As always, construction work is weather-dependent and the timetable is subject to change.

Is Your Bicycle Registered?

Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) would like to remind students, employees and visitors to register their bicycle.

University regulations require all members of the campus community who plan to park their bicycle on campus to obtain and display a valid bicycle permit. The permits are decals, which are available free of charge. There is no registration fee for this program.

Online bike registration is currently available at www.uky.edu/pts/online-services_parking-account-manager. You will need to login with your linkblue ID and password. Permits may also be obtained in person at Parking Structure #6 (721 Press Avenue), Parking Structure #5 (located next to Kennedy Book Store) or 110 Transcript Avenue (UK HealthCare Parking Garage).

For more information about biking at UK, go to www.uky.edu/pts/alternative-transportation_bicycle-information and also read our Bicycle FAQs

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
