Covered Campus Parking Available

At 3 p.m. today, March 2, PTS will lift the gates to all campus parking structures. Parking Structure #5 (located on South Limestone next to Kennedy Book Store) and Parking Structure #7 (located on Sports Center Drive) will remain open and available for entry through 4 a.m. Sunday, for resident students and others on campus to shelter their cars during the severe weather. Students are reminded to removed their vehicles no later than 9 p.m. Sunday.

Severe Weather Impact on Campus Bus System

University of Kentucky Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) will be suspending CATS bus service at 4 p.m. today, March 2, and will return to normal operation once severe weather alerts have been lifted. This includes the daytime Red and Blue routes and the Yellow Night Route.

The Kentucky Clinic and Medical Center Shuttles will continue to operate on their normal schedules, weather permitting.

Student Government’s Cats Cruiser is scheduled to run as normal this evening. If service must be modified or delayed due to weather conditions, that information will be shared via the PTS Twitter stream.

Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
