Employer Showcase to Impact North Campus Parking, Feb. 12-13

The top floor of Parking Structure #5, located on South Limestone next to Kennedy Book Store, will be unavailable to general parking from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both Tuesday, Feb. 12 and Wednesday, Feb. 13, due to the Employer Showcase event being held at the Student Center. The floor consists of 144 parking spaces.

If the structure is full, employees with valid E permits may park in another E lot. Go to to view a campus parking map.

Students with valid C5 or C7 permits may park in the E/C7 parking lot (located adjacent to Taylor and Dickey Halls, off Scott Street), or park in the K areas at Commonwealth Stadium and ride the Lextran Stadium-Greg Page Route.

The Stuckert Career Center parking lot will also be blocked from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13.

Employees and students who typically park on North Campus should plan accordingly and allow extra time in arriving to work or class on both days.

Ride the Basketball Shuttle to Rupp Arena

UK men’s basketball has just five home games remaining. If you’re headed to Rupp Arena to cheer them on in person, Parking and Transportation Services has an easy and inexpensive way for you to get there: the Rupp Arena Basketball Shuttle, for just $3 round-trip.

Shuttles will begin 70 minutes before tip-off, with campus pick-ups at the Euclid Avenue side of the Student Center, Greg Page Laundry and the intersection of University and Huguelet Drives. Return trip shuttles will meet patrons at the Vine Street exit from Rupp Arena following the game.
