Campus Parking Structure Work to Start May 1, Beginning With Rose Street Garage
Annual maintenance on the University's parking structures is scheduled to begin Thursday, May 1. The work will require blocking of a varying number of parking spaces throughout the duration of the project.
Work will initially impact the Rose Street Garage (PS #2), and will shift to the University Drive Garage (PS #1) shortly thereafter.
Whenever possible, the maintenance will take place during evenings and weekends, so as to minimize the impact on parking spaces. The entrances and exits to all facilities will remain open during the project.
Students and employees who normally park in the garages should allow extra commute time. Visit www.uky.edu/pts/parking-info_parking-maps to view the campus parking map and identify alternate parking locations.
The project is expected to last approximately three months. However, as always, construction is weather-dependent and the timetable may change.
Members of the campus community are encouraged to tune into 1700 AM (WQKH 253) to hear campus parking and transportation information. The station broadcasts 24 hours, 7 days a week.
