How to Apply
Please read the following instructions carefully. Incomplete applications, applications that aren't notarized, and/or applications that lack supporting documentation will not be accepted.
Completing the Application
Print the following documents - (1) Residency Application and (2) list of supporting documentation. If you are unable to view or print forms, you must contact the Registrar's Office to have a form sent to you. Complete the application thoroughly, answering all parts. Attach applicable required supporting documentation from the list. A signature on the completed application must be notarized to attest that all information provided is true and correct.
The residency application and all documentation must be submitted to the Regstrar's Office no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the fist day of class of the semester the student is filing for. The application must be recieved in the Registrar's Office or postmarked by 4:30 PM on the day of the filing deadline. If mailing application, the application must be postmarked prior to the deadline. Please allow 2-3 weeks for a decision to be issued to the student's UK email address.
The filing deadline for Spring 2019 is Friday, February 8, 2019.

Student Account Balances
ACCOUNT PAYMENTS ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE THE 22ND OF EACH MONTH
Students are encouraged to pay their student account balance as if their initital residency determination is correct by the balance due date. Late fees can not be removed for applications that receive nonresident decisions. Any unpaid balance is assessed a monthly late payment fee of 1.5%. Monthly account statements are sent electronically to the student’s UK assigned email address the first of each month. Total amount due must be received on or before the 22nd of the month to avoid the late payment fee. An account hold for an unpaid balance will prevent class registration during priority registration windows.
