Summary
This regulation establishes Academic Area Advisory Committees to provide the Provost and the President with a systematic and broad base of advice from faculty employees on matters of appointment, promotion, and tenure. The Provost shall seek the advice of an Academic Area Advisory Committee on matters involving appointment at the senior academic ranks, promotions, or the granting of tenure in accordance with the policies established in AR 2:1-1 and AR 2:1-2.
