H. “All American” Award
NRA decision that Jamie Beyerle is ineligible for 2004 NRA “All-American”
award.
NRA decision to preclude scores from electronic targets for 2004 NRA award
consideration.
Electronic targets are the inevitable future and are currently in use for
Int’l Comp. Electronic targets facilitate compliant scoring issues & enhance
potential public access. Electronic Tgts are approved for NCAA competition
in the NCAA rule book.
CRCA must resolve issues with NRA award or develop CRCA All American Award.
NRA owns the rights to NRA All-American. CRCA owns the rights to CRCA All
American.
Media recognition solely for “All American.” More than one award sponsor in
many sports. Those who wish to continue application for the NRA award may do
so. Due to CRCA proposed formatting changes it is practically inevitable
that the CRCA must develop its own award.
CRCA/NCAA Rifle committee must resolve “All American” award issue in regard
to electronic targets prior to Fall 2004 and paper target issue prior to
Fall 2005.
