  8. These are some new proposals that will be recommended to the NCAA committee.

A.      NCAA Qualifier Procedures:

Multiple Qualifiers:

Team Score: The qualifying score will come from 4 matches, 3 regular season matches and the main Qualifier. Of the three matches 2 will be away and one at home if you shoot your qualifier at home and 2 home and one away if you shoot your qualifier on the road. The 3 matches will be averaged out and added to the qualifier. This will be the total score for qualifying. The scores will be based on combined scores for that match. (Does the Air & SB scores have to be paired from same time/location?)

Individual Score: will be selected during the regular February Qualifier.

Details as to reporting of scores is to be determined.

B.       Championships Limits for Teams/Individuals:

The number of teams invited to the National Championships will be limited to the top eight teams with the highest qualifier scores (combined Air & Small Bore) as described above for “Multiple Qualifier.” Teams selected for the Championships are limited to five shooters. (Total of 40 Team participants)

The remaining eight participant slots for the National Championships will go to individuals.

C.       Coach of the Year Award: A Vendor has been identified. Two Awards are due. Est cost ~ $50 ea.

D.      Two Hour Block Time for Small Bore Match was proposed and accepted

E.       Tie breaker will no longer be “Center Shots.” Tie Breaker will be per ISSF model (last 10 shots kneeling-SB or last 10 shots -Air).

F.       Discussion of paper/ink/uniformity quality of targets.

G.       Discussion of German “Bundesliga” shooting competition.

H.      Mention of shoot 5 count 4 (maybe appropriate in light of limiting team slots at National Championships to 5 shooters). Perhaps Shoot 5 count 4 in Qualifier Matches & shoot 4 count 4 at Championships. Model on  NCAA Golf & X Country

Harry Mullins selected for Vice President by unanimous vote.
