Goal # 5: Foster a Positive Work Environment for Faculty and Staff

The University of Kentucky is committed to fostering a meaningful, collaborative, positive work environment for faculty and staff by promoting workplace quality, diversity and career development. Indeed, building a culture that develops, supports and grows our faculty and staff is an imperative factor in achieving excellence as an institution. Cultivating talent is a perennial issue for most organizations, and universities are no different. As an institution of learning, UK is challenged to not only educate and develop students, but to also create an infrastructure that allows employees to grow, develop and succeed.

The "see tomorrow." team is actively seeking feedback and input regarding the Strategic Plan. Throughout the months of April and May, portions of the plan will be released for campus-wide review.  Please review the latest draft of Goal #1 and provide your thoughts using the feedback form at the bottom of this page.
