There are several reasons why students at the University of Kentucky receive academic alerts, but whatever the academic situation, the main reason that a UK student receives an academic alert is because we care.
What should I do if I receive an academic alert?
- If you receive an alert, talk with the person who submitted the alert, usually your professor or instructor. They submitted the alert because they are concerned about you and want to help you be successful in their class.
- Reach out to your academic advisor. Your advisor will work with you to develop a plan to achieve academic success. If you don't know who your advisor is, you can find the information on myUK in the "Degree Planning and Registration" tab.
