Fitness Challenge

Get Fit For Spring

The 2012 "Get Fit for Spring" Fitness Challenge will run Monday, January 16th – Friday, April 6th.  This is a FREE program that allows you to track your workouts for 12 weeks and earn a t-shirt for completing the challenge.  You will be required to log 4 workouts a week (workout = 60 minutes of physical activity).  You can complete a mix of activities to reach your 60 minute goal and it does not have to be all in one workout (you can break it up into 2 or 3 smaller sessions if needed to meet your 60 minute goal): weight lifting, running, group fitness classes, group cycling classes, swimming, climbing, walking, etc! You do not have to complete all 4 workouts in the Johnson Center but you must log your workout on the fitness challenge boards in the Johnson Center. You can sign-up for the Fitness Challenge during the first week of the program and still be eligible for the FREE t-shirt.  Look for the sign-up boards in the main hallway on the lower floor of the Johnson Center. You will be able to sign up for the challenge starting on Monday, January 16th. Follow these 3 easy steps to get registered:

  1. Fill out a registration slip and drop it in the registration box OR scan the QR code located on the Fitness Challenge boards and sign-up on-line
  2. Put your name on the fitness challenge board
  3. Log your weekly workouts!  It’s that easy!
