Wellness Programs
Spring 2012
Each Semester we offer a variety of wellness programs. Please check back on a regular basis to see our most up-to-date wellness programs. In the meantime, here are some of the programs we have offered in the past:
Beginning Weight Training Program: This is an FREE interactive 4-week program led by UK Personal Trainers, designed to educate on the benefits and basics of weight training. Participants will meet twice a week during the duration of the program. During the program, participants will:
- Learn how to safely perform basic strength training exercises
- Receive hands on instruction using Johnson Center equipment
- Learn how to put together a customized, effective workout!
Alternative Training for Alternative Cats (A.T.A.C.): This is a FREE interactive 5-week program led by UK Personal Trainers, designed to showcase exercises that keep you interested and keep you fit! Some of the alternative training methods that are showcased in this program are TRX Training, Plyometrics, Flexibility/Balance drills, Cardio Alternatives and Circuit Training. Participants will meet twice a week during the duration of this program.
