Academic Preparation Program

This program is designed to begin communicating with students during the admissions/application process and provide a comprehensive continuum of support once they begin their careers as UK students.

Accommodated Testing

The goal of the Disability Resource Center is to provide equal access to students who are eligible.

General Chemistry Learning Center

The General Chemistry Learning Center is located in CP-133 and is open to any student needing help with 100-level general chemistry classes. All help is provided on a drop-in basis by TAs from the general chemistry lab courses.

GRE Prep Courses

Academic Enhancement offers prep courses for both verbal and math sections on the GRE exam.

Math Resource Center

 The center is a computing and mathematics learning center of the Mathematics Department and the Mathematical Sciences Computing Facility at the University of Kentucky.

Peer Tutoring

Academic Enhancement's Peer Tutoring Program, located in The Study, offers drop-in group tutoring in over thirty courses.  The goal is to enhance students' academic experiences through collaborative learning, peer-to peer support, and an energetic, scholarly atmosphere.  This free service is available to all UK students, and no appointments are necessary.

Placement Testing

Placement testing for both current UK students and prospective students.

Student Athlete Academic Services (CATS)

The mission of the CATS program is to create an environment where all student-athletes have the opportunity to maximize their academic, personal, and social growth and improve their post-college quality of life.

Study Smarter Seminars

The Study Smarter Seminar is a one-time, non-credit earning seminar designed to help students master the art of effective study.
