15 to Finish

15 to Finish is an exciting campaign that encourages Kentucky college students to graduate on time by completing at least 15 credits a semester, or 30 a year. Most full-time students take less than 15 credit hours and don’t finish on time, adding the costs of extra semesters.

Academic Preparation Program

This program is designed to begin communicating with students during the admissions/application process and provide a comprehensive continuum of support once they begin their careers as UK students.

Career and Major Exploration

In today's workplace, you're not limited to just a handful of careers by your major. As you'll discover at the Career Center, any major naturally lends itself to dozens of fields and possible careers.  The UK Counseling Center offers assistance with career decision-making which may be particularly helpful for those whose process is complicated by anxiety, global indecisiveness, family pressures, low self-confidence, and challenges joining selective-admission programs.

 Course Exceptions

To petition the General Education Exceptions Committee to accept one or more courses taken from other colleges or universities as meeting the requirements for one or more Graduation Writing, USP or UK Core courses, please visit this site.

Degree Audit (Plan your courses)

The degree audit software will offer an opportunity to evaluate a student’s current progress within their respective degree program and minor. Also provided to students are the means to explore their options from among a list of degree programs, majors, and minors. The students’ exploration can extend to the planned course feature allowing each student to be prepared for both their scheduled advising session and registration period.
