The University of Kentucky's freshman class has set records in diversity, quality and overall numbers. In terms of diversity, a record number of African-American, Hispanic, international and out-of-state students were added this year. The quality of the freshman class has grown by an increase in the number of National Merit/National Achievement Finalists, Singletary Scholars and Honors program students. There are now 4,645 undergraduate students, bringing the total enrollment numbers to 28,935 with 20,882 undergraduate students. Read the full story.
