Ordering Transcripts

For various reasons, as a student you will need to order transcripts. UK has three ways for students to order transcripts: in person, through mail, or online through the National Student Clearinghouse website. Please remember that if your student account has a financial delinquency, the University will not process your transcript request until the delinquency has been cleared. If you have a hold, we will notify you and provide the contact information for you to clear the hold.

In Person: 

How: Vist the Registrar's Office, 10 Funkhouser Building

When: Monday through Friday, 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. 

What to bring: Picture ID

Cost: $10.00 per transcript, payable by cash, check, money order or credit card

  • Please note that the University is closed most holidays and during the break between Christmas and New Years. If you need to request a transcript when the University is closed, you may order online.


By Mail:

How: To order by mail, print the form, complete the information requested, sign the request and mail to the address listed on the form.

What to include: A check or money order made payable to the University of Kentucky that covers the cost of each transcript ordered. Credit card orders may be completed online through the National Student Clearinghouse website.

Cost: $10.00 per transcript

  • Submitting requests without adequate information will cause a delay in processing.  The cost is $10.00 per transcript.

How: Visit this website and enter all prompted information (site is secure)

When: This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What to know: your student UK student number or social security number and where the transcript needs to be sent (i.e., graduate admissions, a particular department or person) and basic contact information.

Cost: $10.00 per transcript and small online fee (you will be given the total before you press "order").
