Results of the Summer 2008 SACS Assessment
will be available by Spring 2009.
Students who want GWR credit should enroll
in and complete a GWR approved course.
As of Spring 2008 there are no more “w” sections or forms
required. All students are enrolled and remain in the same section of a course.
However, GWR credit is still only given to students who meet prerequisites for this requirement.
An automated program will award GWR
credit to all eligible students no later than midterm.
The credit will be noted on the student’s
Unofficial Transcript with the notation “Graduation Writing Requirement Course”
after the course.
