Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise
Microsoft released the Windows 10 Enterprise operating system on Monday, August 3rd, 2015. Please note that testing of the Windows 10 operating system has revealed compatibility issues with current UK applications. The list shown below is not inclusive.
- SAP Web applications in Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 and Edge
- Cisco VPN clients (v5.0.07.0410, v5.0.07.0440, and v4.9.01.0080)
- Cisco applications such as IP Communicator and Agent Desktop/Supervisor
- Microsoft Endpoint Protection 2012
- Kronos Workforce Central v6.2 and earlier versions
Due to the number of known compatibility issues, UKAT strongly encourages faculty and staff not to upgrade to Windows 10 Enterprise at this time. Should you choose to proceed with Windows 10 installation, and until further notice, all questions and issues should be directed to your departmental IT support team.
If you are using the free Hola VPN client.
Please remove this from your system as the client can be used to compromise your machine and generate messages to other sites from your machine.
This can have adverse impacts for Internet resources.
