The Echo360 Development Award Program is designed so that faculty may explore opportunities presented by the use of lecture capture in a course(s). Funding is provided for the development and delivery of “flipped” or modified courses that move lecture to anywhere, anytime delivery and concentrates class time on discussion, student-centered projects, and other active learning or engagement.
From the Fall 2012 UK student Echo usage survey:
· More than 60 percent of respondents agreed or strongly agreed that having access to the lecture outside of class increased their understanding of course materials.
· More than half said that the lecture access helped them review material from class or prepare for exams.
