UKAT Learning Spaces maintains 10 computer labs that are spread out across the campus of University of Kentucky


UK Students, Faculty, and Staff can find the necessary hardware and software to complete their assignments and projects. While Learning Spaces only maintains 10 labs, there are numerous other labs maintained by individual colleges spread across campus.

Nursing

The Nursing lab is located on the 6th floor of the College of Nursing located across from the main hospital. The lab can be reached at 859-323-4233. This lab is open Monday through Thursday 7:30am to 10:00pm, Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 11:00am to 6:00pm, and Sunday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm. This lab offers students the ability to utilize 27 Dell computers with Windows 7 and two black and white printers.

Along with the lab, we have a classroom set up with test proctor monitoring technology. There are 144 Dell computers with Windows 7, one teachers station, and a dual projector system.

      Come join us in the Cisco lab, conveniently located at the Hub in the basement of the W.T. Young Library. Guests have access to 53 Windows computers, 4 iMacs, and 2 Mac Pro's. There are also 4 color flatbed scanners, two black and white multi-function printers, a color printer, and a Dart machine. Instructors can reserve one of our three classrooms located inside the lab, with class sizes ranging from 16 to 30 machines.

      If you need assistance while in the lab, you've got lots of help. Student Computing Services has a consultant on hand during all times that the library is open. The folks from Tech Help are available in the lab Monday through Friday from 10am until 6pm. If you're having computer troubles, stop by and see the folks at Kentucky Trade.
