UK moving from Blackboard to Canvas in June 2016

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 25, 2015) — The learning management system (LMS) countdown is on: the University of Kentucky is moving from Blackboard to Canvas, and on June 1, 2016, the university will retire Blackboard completely.

Students may find that some of their fall courses are in Canvas while others are in Blackboard. Individual faculty will choose the best for their course this semester, but all courses will be in Canvas by June 1.

TurningPoint Cloud and ResponseWare Update


Our development team has been hard at work creating new features and making improvements on TurningPoint Cloud and ResponseWare. These features all come from suggestions and requests of our customers. The new release will go live on Sunday, July 19th and will be a required update.

UK Faculty Invited to Grand Opening of Faculty Media Depot

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 28, 2015) — An opening reception is set for Jan. 30 to celebrate the Faculty Media Depot and its services for University of Kentucky faculty. UK Analytics and Technologies’ Academic Technology Group (ATG) and the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) are bringing together technology and pedagogy in the depot, nestled away in the Science Library, located in the M.I. King Library.
