SSTARS

The Social Science Teaching and Research Statistics (SSTARS) Center brings together the presently scattered support functions for statistical computing and statistical analysis so that faculty and graduate students can conveniently utilize the services of consultants from Computing Services and Statistics.

• Provides access to powerful, modern, statistical software which faculty and graduate students can utilize in the course of their research.
• Provides statistical consulting to faculty and student researchers who do not otherwise have access to statistical expertise.
• Provides a poster file conversion and discounted printing service to provide a medium by which researchers may share their findings at conferences.

Acquiring Software

SSTARS facilitates the purchase of many software suites licensed through Academic Pricing. You may now acquire SAS, JMP, SPSS, Matlab, SigmaPlot or Qualtrics for teaching or academic (publishable) research by logging into download.uky.edu.
