Turning Point
TurningPoint is an audience response system (ARS) that integrates with Microsoft® PowerPoint®. This enables audiences and students to participate in presentations or lectures by submitting responses to interactive questions using a ResponseCard™ keypad or other hand-held/computer devices. For immediate assistance with Turning Point, call (859)-218-HELP and select the option for AV Services.

Testing the clicker before use
- Go to the TurningPoint Toolbar
- For Office 2007 and Mac, select Tools -> Settings
- Click the "Polling Test" tab
- Click Start Test
- Press any number/letter button on responder (data should appear for each responder tested)

Changing the channel on the receiver
- Go to the TurningPoint Toolbar
- For Office 2007 and Mac, select Tools -> Settings, click the Settings tab
- Click Response Device (ResponseCard Channels will display)
- Click the channel number on the Receiver line to get the drop down list
- Select the desired channel by scrolling

How to get a clicker
- Clickers can be purchased from most textbook stores.
- Clickers cost approximately $40.

How to register your clicker in Blackboard
- Go to Course Tools
- Scroll down to TurningPoint Registration Tool
- Enter the Response Device ID found on the back of your clicker
- Re-enter the Response Device ID to confirm, then click submit
- If already registered for that course, the Device ID will be displayed
