CNS Phone Fee Upgrades

Effective July 1, UKIT will streamline Communications & Network Systems (CNS) infrastructure funding by going to a “converged fee” instead of the current method of billing for phone lines, long-distance calls, network access, and voicemail.   The new billing concept will move to an FTE-based methodology using SAP-extracted data. This snapshot will be taken on a quarterly basis for every employee on the payroll and billed to the units, similar to the current process in place for the Microsoft License Fee distribution.
